What is powder coating

In powder coating, dry powder paint is electrostatically applied to a conductive part and then cured in an oven. This creates a continuous decorative and protective surface without liquid solvent-based coating.

The treatment is used primarily on steel and aluminum covers, frames, brackets, cabinets, and welded assemblies. The resulting durability depends not only on the paint, but also on substrate preparation, the environment of use, and properly selected pretreatment.

The color can be selected from a commonly available color chart, as well as the degree of gloss and texture. For a visible assembly, it is advisable to coat related parts in one batch to minimize minor differences in shade and surface.

Threads, mating surfaces, grounding points, and tight fits are masked before coating. Masking requirements must be indicated on the drawing, as the layer changes dimensions and may affect assembly.

We also provide cutting, bending, machining, and welding before coating. For quotation, specify material, dimensions, quantity, color, surface appearance, and all uncoated areas.
