  • drawings, technical documentation and files you send us (STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF, PDF or ZIP, up to 200 MB);
  • information included in subsequent business correspondence;
  • technical data necessary for secure website operation, such as IP address, request time, browser type and server logs.

Please do not include special categories of personal data in the note or attached files unless strictly necessary.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use personal data to:

  • handle your request, prepare a quotation and communicate with you before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  • perform a contract and related business communication — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  • comply with legal obligations, especially accounting and tax obligations — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
  • protect the website, prevent misuse, maintain security and establish, exercise or defend legal claims — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • process data based on your consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

4. Drawings, technical documentation and confidentiality

We use drawings and other materials only as necessary to assess, quote and potentially fulfil your request. Access is limited to people who need the materials for these purposes and to our authorised suppliers. We do not publish the documentation or use it for another purpose without your consent or another legal basis.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be made available to our hosting and server infrastructure provider, email provider, IT and security support, accountants, legal advisers or other suppliers where necessary to handle a request, operate the website or comply with a legal obligation. Each processor may process data only on our instructions and only to the extent necessary to provide its service.

We do not sell personal data. If a transfer outside the European Economic Area occurs, we will ensure that it complies with the GDPR and use the safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR.

6. Retention

We retain inquiry data while the request and related communication are being handled. Once the purpose ends, we delete or anonymise the data unless we need it to comply with a legal obligation, keep accounting records, demonstrate compliance, or establish or defend legal claims. Technical security logs are retained only for as long as necessary to operate the website securely and investigate incidents.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

The website uses technically necessary cookies and similar technologies required for operation, security, language settings and form submission. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing services in the future, we will activate them only after obtaining the required consent and provide separate information about them.

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Data transmission over the public internet may nevertheless involve risks, so please send sensitive information only to the extent necessary.
